Shipping Policy
Table of Contents
1. Introduction and Scope
Purpose of Policy
This Shipping Policy establishes the formal shipping, fulfillment, customer disclosure, and risk-control procedures used by Royal Peptide Labs, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. The policy is intended for use both as a customer-facing shipping disclosure and as an internal underwriting support document for payment processors, acquiring banks, risk analysts, compliance reviewers, and other third parties evaluating the Company’s fulfillment controls. Royal Peptide Labs recognizes that shipping practices are a material underwriting concern for businesses operating in a high-risk or specially reviewed product category. For that reason, this policy is drafted to identify not only delivery timeframes, but also the operational controls that govern order review, packaging, customer responsibility, carrier use, shipment documentation, dispute prevention, and compliance oversight.
Business and Product Scope
This policy applies to all orders fulfilled by Royal Peptide Labs through its approved website, customer portal, approved sales channels, or authorized business processes. The Company sells products designated for Research Use Only (‘RUO’). Such products are intended solely for lawful laboratory research, analytical, educational, and development purposes by qualified purchasers. Products are not sold for human consumption, veterinary use, clinical administration, prescription use, therapeutic use, diagnostic use, or any purpose involving treatment, mitigation, cure, or prevention of disease. Shipping procedures are therefore structured to support lawful distribution, accurate customer disclosures, batch traceability, and documentation sufficient for underwriting review.
Customer Agreement
By placing an order with Royal Peptide Labs, the customer agrees to be bound by this Shipping Policy, the Company’s Terms and Conditions, Refund and Return Policy, Research Use Only Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and any additional written policies posted or incorporated by reference on the Company’s website. The customer acknowledges that shipping timelines are estimates, that carriers operate independently of Royal Peptide Labs, that the customer is responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, and that international purchasers are responsible for understanding and complying with import laws in their destination country.
Underwriting Control Objective
The objective of this policy is to demonstrate that Royal Peptide Labs maintains a controlled and documented fulfillment process. The policy is designed to reduce preventable disputes by clearly disclosing customer obligations, delivery expectations, signature requirements, insurance availability, address accuracy duties, shipping cost responsibility, and limitations on carrier-related liability. These controls are intended to reduce refund abuse, chargebacks, shipment disputes, undeliverable packages, customs-related complaints, and consumer confusion.
2. Order Processing and Fulfillment Standards
Order Receipt and Initial Review
Orders are not treated as ready for shipment immediately upon customer checkout. Every order enters an internal review process following payment authorization. During this review, Royal Peptide Labs confirms that the order has been properly submitted, that payment has been authorized, that product availability can be confirmed, and that the shipping destination does not present an obvious carrier, fraud, operational, or compliance concern. This review process is a required control and is not optional. It allows the Company to identify incomplete orders, suspicious transactions, shipping irregularities, invalid addresses, inventory conflicts, or requests that require additional verification before fulfillment proceeds.
Standard Processing Time
Royal Peptide Labs generally processes approved orders within one (1) to three (3) business days after payment confirmation and completion of any necessary review. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and days on which carrier service is unavailable or materially disrupted. Orders placed outside normal business hours, on weekends, or on holidays begin processing on the next business day. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time. A customer should not calculate delivery timing from the order placement date alone; estimated delivery timing begins only after the package has been transferred to the carrier and tracking has been generated.
Reasons Processing May Be Extended
Processing may require additional time when circumstances warrant further review or when operational conditions affect fulfillment. Examples include high order volume, inventory reconciliation, batch verification, manual fraud review, payment screening, address mismatch, compliance review, product availability confirmation, weather-related business interruption, carrier pickup limitations, or other circumstances outside the Company’s reasonable control. Royal Peptide Labs reserves the right to delay shipment until the Company is satisfied that the order is accurate, authorized, compliant, and capable of fulfillment.
Order Acceptance and Right to Decline
Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance or shipment. Royal Peptide Labs may decline, cancel, hold, or request additional information for any order that raises concerns related to payment validity, fraud indicators, customer identity, shipping destination, restricted jurisdiction, suspected resale abuse, chargeback history, policy violations, or compliance risk. If an order is canceled before shipment, the Company will follow its applicable refund and payment policies. This reservation of rights is an important part of the Company’s risk control process and is intended to protect the business, its customers, its payment processors, and its carrier relationships.
Fulfillment Workflow
Once an order is approved for fulfillment, the order is moved into picking, verification, packaging, label creation, and carrier handoff. Personnel responsible for fulfillment are expected to confirm order details against the packing record before shipment. The Company seeks to avoid substitutions unless expressly authorized by the customer or permitted by posted policy. Shipment records, including tracking information and fulfillment details, are retained to support customer service inquiries, carrier claims, fraud investigations, and chargeback responses.
3. Inventory Verification and Quality Assurance Controls
Inventory Verification Prior to Shipment
Royal Peptide Labs verifies product availability before completing shipment. Inventory verification helps ensure that the customer receives the item ordered, that quantities are accurate, and that products are not shipped from unverified or improperly recorded stock. Where products are associated with batch numbers, lot identifiers, certificates of analysis, or similar quality documentation, fulfillment personnel are expected to confirm that the product selected for shipment corresponds to the Company’s inventory records. These procedures support traceability and demonstrate that shipments are not handled casually or without documentation.
Batch and Lot Traceability
For products that are batch-tracked, the Company maintains records intended to identify the product batch or lot associated with inventory movement and customer fulfillment. Batch traceability is an important quality assurance control because it allows the Company to respond to customer inquiries, internal quality reviews, vendor issues, recall-like events, documentation requests, or compliance reviews. The shipping function is therefore integrated with inventory management rather than treated as a purely clerical activity.
Pre-Shipment Accuracy Review
Before a package is sealed and transferred to the carrier, the fulfillment process includes a pre-shipment accuracy review. This review may include confirming the customer name, shipping address, product description, quantity, packing materials, order number, and shipping service level. The purpose of this review is to reduce errors that could lead to returns, complaints, chargebacks, replacement requests, or allegations that the wrong product was shipped. Royal Peptide Labs treats order accuracy as a risk management priority, particularly because shipping disputes can affect merchant account performance.
Quality Control Holds
Royal Peptide Labs reserves the right to place products or orders on hold if there is any concern regarding product identity, packaging condition, label accuracy, inventory records, documentation, or shipment suitability. A hold may be temporary while records are reviewed or permanent if the Company determines shipment should not proceed. The Company would rather delay shipment than release a package that has not cleared internal quality assurance standards.
Documentation of Fulfillment Activity
Shipping records are maintained as part of the Company’s broader compliance and customer service framework. Relevant records may include order confirmations, payment status, shipping labels, tracking numbers, carrier service selected, customer communications, delivery confirmation, insurance selection if applicable, and notes relating to any hold or exception. These records help the Company respond consistently to customer inquiries and provide evidence to processors or acquiring banks if a shipping-related dispute arises.
4. Packaging Standards and Shipment Preparation
General Packaging Standard
Royal Peptide Labs packages orders using materials selected to protect products during ordinary commercial transit. Packaging methods are designed to reduce the likelihood of breakage, leakage, tampering, crushing, label damage, or other preventable shipping issues. Packaging decisions may vary based on product type, order size, shipping destination, carrier method, climate conditions, and package handling expectations. The Company periodically reviews packaging practices to ensure they remain commercially reasonable for the products being shipped.
Product Protection and Presentation
Products are packed in a manner intended to preserve product integrity and present a professional fulfillment standard to the customer. Inner packaging may be used to secure items and reduce movement inside the package. Outer packaging is selected based on durability and suitability for carrier handling. The Company seeks to avoid loose or inadequately supported packaging because poor presentation can lead to customer concern, unnecessary support tickets, and disputes regarding product condition.
Labeling and Shipping Label Review
Shipping labels are generated using the customer-provided shipping information and selected carrier service. Before carrier handoff, the Company reviews shipping label information for obvious inconsistencies or formatting issues when reasonably identifiable. This review does not relieve the customer of responsibility for providing accurate information. The shipping label represents the customer’s delivery instruction to the carrier, and incorrect customer-provided information may cause delay, misdelivery, returned shipments, or additional charges.
Discreet and Compliant Packaging
Royal Peptide Labs may use packaging that is commercially appropriate, professional, and consistent with customer privacy and carrier requirements. The Company does not represent that packaging will be anonymous, unlabeled, or free from legally required information. Packaging may include necessary shipping information, return information, carrier barcodes, customs documentation, or other details required for transportation and delivery.
Shipment Readiness
A shipment is considered ready for carrier transfer only after order verification, product selection, packaging, label creation, and final internal review have been completed. Royal Peptide Labs reserves the right to re-open, re-pack, correct, or delay any shipment prior to carrier handoff if an issue is identified. The Company considers this authority essential to maintaining order accuracy and preventing avoidable fulfillment errors.
5. Shipping Methods and Carrier Selection
Approved Carriers
Royal Peptide Labs currently utilizes established commercial carriers, including FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx Express, FedEx Two-Day, and FedEx Overnight where available. The Company may use additional or alternative carriers in the future if doing so improves service reliability, cost efficiency, geographic coverage, compliance management, or operational continuity. Carrier selection is based on availability, destination, service level, package characteristics, operational needs, and risk considerations.
Carrier Independence
Carriers are independent transportation providers and are not employees, agents, partners, or legal representatives of Royal Peptide Labs. Once a package is transferred to a carrier, the carrier controls the transportation network, routing, scanning, delivery attempt, delay management, and final delivery process. Royal Peptide Labs may assist customers with carrier-related inquiries, but the Company does not control the carrier’s internal operations or guarantee carrier performance.
Service Level Availability
Available shipping services may vary by destination, delivery zone, carrier cutoff time, package size, weather condition, holiday schedule, service interruption, or carrier restriction. Not every shipping method is available for every order or every destination. A shipping method displayed at checkout reflects available options at the time of order submission, but the Company reserves the right to modify or substitute service levels when operationally necessary, provided the substituted service is commercially reasonable under the circumstances.
Carrier Substitution Rights
Royal Peptide Labs reserves the right to substitute a comparable carrier or shipping service when the originally selected service is unavailable, impractical, disrupted, or inappropriate for the shipment. Examples include carrier service suspension, weather disruption, address classification issues, package acceptance restrictions, fraud review outcomes, or delivery area limitations. Carrier substitution does not create a right to refund unless the customer paid for a premium service that was not provided and the Company’s posted policies or applicable law require adjustment.
Transit Time Estimates
Transit times provided by carriers are estimates unless expressly identified by the carrier as guaranteed and accepted by Royal Peptide Labs in writing for the specific shipment. Delivery estimates are not promises by Royal Peptide Labs. Estimated delivery may be affected by weather, holidays, peak volume, regional disruptions, customs processing, missed delivery attempts, incorrect addresses, security screening, or other events. Customers should use tracking information as the most current source of shipment status.
6. Shipping Charges and Customer Responsibility
No Free Shipping Policy
Royal Peptide Labs does not offer free shipping as a standard policy. Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling charges associated with their orders unless the Company expressly states otherwise in writing for a specific transaction or promotion. This disclosure is intended to avoid customer confusion and to ensure that shipping expenses are clearly allocated at the time of purchase.
Calculation and Disclosure of Shipping Costs
Shipping charges may be calculated based on package weight, dimensions, destination, selected service level, carrier rates, handling requirements, insurance selection, signature services, customs documentation, and applicable surcharges. Shipping charges are displayed during checkout before the order is submitted. By completing checkout, the customer authorizes the shipping charge associated with the selected or applicable shipping method.
Customer Responsibility for Additional Costs
The customer is responsible for all additional shipping-related charges that arise from customer action, customer inaction, destination requirements, carrier assessment, or governmental assessment. Such charges may include address correction fees, return-to-sender charges, reshipment fees, refused delivery costs, storage charges, redelivery fees, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, inspection fees, carrier surcharges, and fees associated with optional insurance or signature services where applicable. Royal Peptide Labs is not required to absorb costs caused by inaccurate information, failed delivery, customs refusal, or customer failure to retrieve a package.
Non-Refundability of Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are generally non-refundable once an order has entered fulfillment or has been transferred to a carrier. This is because shipping charges compensate for carrier services, label generation, handling, packing, and shipment processing that may be incurred regardless of whether the customer later refuses delivery, fails to retrieve the package, enters an incorrect address, or requests cancellation after fulfillment has begun. Any exception must be approved by Royal Peptide Labs in writing or required by applicable law.
Reshipment Costs
If a package must be reshipped because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, customer refusal, customs rejection, non-payment of duties, or failure to retrieve the package, the customer must pay all applicable reshipment costs before a replacement shipment is released. Royal Peptide Labs may decline to reship an order if the original issue indicates fraud risk, compliance risk, repeated delivery failure, or customer noncooperation.
7. Signature Confirmation Requirements
Signature Requirement Threshold
Royal Peptide Labs requires signature confirmation for orders with a total order value greater than $500. This requirement is a risk-control measure designed to reduce theft claims, delivery disputes, unauthorized receipt, and chargeback exposure. The signature requirement may apply based on the value of the goods, shipment risk profile, order history, destination, payment method, customer request, or internal review.
Customer Obligation to Be Available
When signature confirmation is required, the customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorized adult or appropriate recipient is available at the delivery address to sign for the package. The customer should monitor tracking information closely and make arrangements with the carrier if permitted. Failure to be available for signature may result in missed delivery attempts, carrier hold, return to sender, delay, or additional shipping charges.
Carrier Delivery Attempts
The number of delivery attempts is determined by the carrier’s policies and operational practices. Royal Peptide Labs does not control the number or timing of delivery attempts and cannot guarantee that the carrier will call, text, or coordinate delivery with the customer. If the carrier holds the package at a facility or pickup location, the customer is responsible for retrieving the package within the carrier’s required timeframe.
Signature Refusal or Failure
If a customer refuses to sign for a shipment, fails to arrange pickup, or allows a signature-required package to be returned, the shipment may be treated as customer refused, undeliverable, or returned to sender. The customer may be responsible for return shipping, reshipment fees, restocking fees, or other charges permitted by the Company’s policies. Signature-related delivery failure does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
Dispute Evidence
For orders requiring signature confirmation, Royal Peptide Labs may rely on carrier signature records, delivery confirmation, tracking scans, pickup records, and related shipment documentation when responding to customer inquiries, refund requests, fraud investigations, or chargebacks. Signature confirmation is intended to provide evidence that the package was delivered or made available consistent with the selected carrier service.
8. Optional Shipping Insurance
Availability of Insurance
Customers may purchase shipping insurance for an additional fee when available. Insurance availability may depend on carrier rules, shipment value, destination, product eligibility, declared value requirements, and service level. Insurance is not included automatically unless expressly stated in writing by Royal Peptide Labs for a specific order.
Customer Decision to Purchase or Decline
The customer is responsible for deciding whether to purchase optional shipping insurance. If the customer declines available insurance, the customer assumes the risk that carrier reimbursement may be limited or unavailable for loss, damage, theft, or other transit events. Royal Peptide Labs is not responsible for replacing uninsured shipments beyond the Company’s posted policies and applicable law.
Insurance Does Not Guarantee Claim Approval
Purchase of shipping insurance does not guarantee that a claim will be approved. Insurance claims are subject to carrier or insurer rules, documentation requirements, exclusions, investigation procedures, proof of value requirements, filing deadlines, packaging review, and determination of liability. Royal Peptide Labs may assist with claim documentation when appropriate, but the final claim decision belongs to the carrier or insurer.
Customer Cooperation Required
Customers requesting assistance with an insurance or carrier claim must cooperate promptly by providing photographs, packaging evidence, written descriptions, delivery information, tracking details, and any other documentation requested by Royal Peptide Labs, the carrier, or the insurer. Failure to preserve packaging or provide documentation may result in claim denial. Customers should not discard damaged packaging or contents until the claim process is complete or until Royal Peptide Labs provides written instructions.
Insurance and Refunds
Insurance proceeds, if any, may be applied according to the Company’s refund, replacement, or claim resolution procedures. The existence of insurance does not automatically require immediate refund or replacement before the carrier or insurer completes its investigation. Royal Peptide Labs reserves the right to wait for claim determination where appropriate.
9. Domestic Shipping Procedures
Domestic Coverage
Royal Peptide Labs ships within the United States to approved addresses serviced by the Company’s carriers. Domestic shipment availability may vary based on destination, carrier classification, service disruptions, address validation, compliance review, and order-specific risk factors. The Company may restrict shipment to certain locations where carrier service is unreliable, unavailable, legally restricted, or associated with elevated fraud or delivery dispute risk.
PO Boxes and Address Types
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Certain services may not deliver to all address types, including PO boxes, private mailbox facilities, commercial receiving agencies, military addresses, freight forwarders, hotels, temporary residences, or restricted-access locations. If an address type is incompatible with the selected carrier service, Royal Peptide Labs may request a corrected address, substitute a carrier where possible, place the order on hold, or cancel the order.
Domestic Transit Expectations
Domestic transit times depend on the selected service, destination zone, carrier operations, weather, holidays, and other circumstances. Ground shipments may take several business days depending on distance and carrier network conditions. Expedited services may reduce transit time but still remain subject to carrier acceptance, cutoff times, weather disruption, missed delivery attempts, and service exceptions. Royal Peptide Labs does not guarantee delivery on a specific date unless the Company expressly agrees in writing and the carrier provides an applicable guaranteed service.
Delivery to Secure Locations
Customers are responsible for selecting a secure delivery location. Royal Peptide Labs recommends that customers avoid addresses where packages may be left unattended, exposed to weather, accessible to the public, or difficult for carriers to access. If a customer is concerned about theft or delivery exposure, the customer should consider signature services where available, carrier pickup options, or insurance if offered.
Domestic Shipping Exceptions
Domestic shipments may be delayed or interrupted due to address errors, weather, carrier routing issues, regional emergencies, road closures, facility delays, staffing disruptions, or other circumstances. The Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide tracking information and respond to customer inquiries, but it cannot control carrier transit once the package has been accepted by the carrier.
10. International Shipping Procedures
International Availability
Royal Peptide Labs ships to select international destinations where the Company determines that shipping is operationally feasible and not prohibited by known carrier, compliance, or internal risk controls. International availability may change without notice based on carrier restrictions, import conditions, payment risk, customs issues, geopolitical events, sanctions concerns, regulatory changes, or repeated delivery problems in a destination country.
Customer Responsibility for Import Compliance
International customers are solely responsible for determining whether products may be lawfully imported, possessed, stored, and used in their country or region. Royal Peptide Labs does not provide legal advice regarding foreign import laws and does not guarantee that a product permitted for sale or shipment from the United States will be admissible in another jurisdiction. The customer’s decision to place an international order represents the customer’s confirmation that the order is lawful for the customer’s intended research-use purpose and destination.
Customs Documentation and Review
International shipments may require customs declarations, commercial invoices, product descriptions, value declarations, tariff information, or other documentation requested by the carrier or destination authority. Royal Peptide Labs will prepare commercially reasonable shipping documentation, but customs authorities may independently inspect, delay, reject, seize, assess duties on, or destroy shipments. The Company cannot control customs processing times or final admissibility decisions.
International Shipping Costs
International customers are responsible for all international shipping charges and all destination-related costs, including customs duties, taxes, VAT, GST, brokerage fees, inspection fees, storage charges, administrative fees, return shipping, and any other charges assessed by carriers or government authorities. These costs are separate from the product purchase price and may not be fully known at checkout. Refusal to pay duties, taxes, or fees may result in return, abandonment, seizure, or destruction of the shipment without refund of shipping charges.
International Risk Disclosure
International shipments present additional risk of delay, customs review, documentation requests, carrier handoff, tracking gaps, import restrictions, and non-delivery. By placing an international order, the customer accepts these risks and agrees that Royal Peptide Labs is not responsible for delays, seizures, refusals, customs penalties, import denials, or losses arising from the customer’s destination country’s laws or enforcement decisions. Any replacement or refund related to an international shipment is subject to the Company’s written policies and discretion unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Freight Forwarders and Third-Party Reshippers
Use of freight forwarders, package forwarding services, third-party reshippers, or intermediary addresses may increase the risk of loss, delay, damage, misrouting, customs issues, and documentation gaps. Royal Peptide Labs may decline orders shipping to forwarders or may treat delivery to the initial forwarding address as completion of the Company’s delivery obligation. Once delivered to a freight forwarder or intermediary, Royal Peptide Labs is not responsible for subsequent handling, export, customs clearance, damage, loss, or delivery failure.
11. Customs, Duties, Taxes, and Import Compliance
Purpose and Underwriting Relevance
This section describes the allocation of responsibility for customs clearance, import taxes, duties, brokerage fees, and import compliance for shipments sent outside the United States. Royal Peptide Labs, LLC is a Michigan limited liability company that ships research-use-only materials to domestic and international destinations only where shipment is operationally and legally supportable. Because international shipments present elevated risk of delay, customs inspection, seizure, return, customer confusion, and post-transaction disputes, the Company maintains clear customer-facing disclosures and internal controls regarding import compliance.
Customer Responsibility for Import Compliance
International customers are solely responsible for determining whether the ordered products may be lawfully imported, possessed, stored, handled, transferred, and used in the destination jurisdiction. Royal Peptide Labs does not act as the customer’s importer of record, customs broker, regulatory advisor, or legal representative. The customer is responsible for understanding and satisfying all local, regional, national, and international laws, rules, permits, registrations, licensing requirements, import restrictions, laboratory-use requirements, and documentation obligations that may apply to the order.
Duties, Taxes, and Brokerage Fees
Customers are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, value-added taxes, goods and services taxes, brokerage fees, clearance fees, inspection fees, storage fees, carrier advancement fees, and any other charges assessed by customs authorities, governmental agencies, brokers, or carriers. These amounts are separate from the product price and shipping charge paid to Royal Peptide Labs at checkout. Unless expressly stated in writing, the Company does not collect destination-country import taxes or duties at checkout and does not represent that checkout totals include all costs that may be imposed by foreign authorities.
Customs Delays and Governmental Review
International shipments may be opened, inspected, tested, delayed, held, rejected, returned, destroyed, or confiscated by customs or other governmental authorities. Royal Peptide Labs has no control over customs timelines, inspection standards, admissibility decisions, agency workload, or enforcement actions. Delivery estimates for international orders are therefore approximate only and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of delivery by a specific date.
Documentation and Product Description
Royal Peptide Labs prepares shipment documentation in a manner intended to be accurate, commercially reasonable, and consistent with the nature of the products sold. The Company will not mislabel products, falsify customs values, disguise shipment contents, omit required shipment information, or make false customs declarations to assist a customer in avoiding duties, taxes, import review, or regulatory controls. Requests by customers to misstate product value, change product descriptions, mark products as gifts, or otherwise alter customs documentation for improper purposes may result in order cancellation.
Seizure, Return, or Rejection
If an international shipment is seized, rejected, detained, returned, destroyed, or otherwise not delivered due to customs action, import restrictions, customer failure to obtain authorization, unpaid duties or taxes, or destination-country requirements, the customer remains responsible for the order and associated shipping costs to the extent permitted by law. Refunds, replacements, credits, or reshipments are not automatic and may be denied where the issue is outside the Company’s control or results from customer failure to satisfy import obligations.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Customer-facing disclosure that international customers are responsible for import compliance, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees.
- No falsification of customs documentation or undervaluing of products.
- Clear allocation of risk for customs delay, seizure, rejection, destruction, or return.
12. Shipping Restrictions and Prohibited Destinations
Policy Standard
Royal Peptide Labs reserves the right to restrict, refuse, cancel, or delay shipment to any destination when the Company determines that shipment may create legal, regulatory, payment, fraud, carrier, reputational, or operational risk. This authority applies whether the restriction is identified before payment, during order review, during fulfillment, or after carrier tender.
Restricted Locations
The Company may restrict shipment to jurisdictions where product importation, research-material handling, peptide-related commerce, customs clearance, or carrier delivery presents elevated risk. Restrictions may be based on federal, state, local, or international requirements; payment processor guidance; acquiring bank requirements; sanctions controls; carrier limitations; prior delivery issues; customs history; or internal compliance review.
Sanctions and Prohibited Parties
Royal Peptide Labs will not knowingly ship to sanctioned countries, embargoed territories, prohibited parties, restricted entities, or individuals or organizations that the Company reasonably believes are attempting to evade legal restrictions or payment controls. Orders may be screened for suspicious indicators, mismatched billing and shipping details, freight-forwarding patterns, unusual destination requests, high-risk addresses, or other indicators of improper diversion.
Carrier and Service Availability
Carrier availability is not guaranteed for every address or destination. Even where a customer is able to enter a shipping address during checkout, Royal Peptide Labs may be unable to ship if FedEx or another approved carrier does not service the destination, cannot provide acceptable tracking, cannot satisfy delivery requirements, or classifies the destination as restricted, remote, or otherwise unsuitable.
Right to Cancel or Modify Shipment
When a destination is restricted or unavailable, the Company may cancel the order, request an alternative shipping address, require additional verification, require upgraded shipping, request customer acknowledgment of risk, or decline the transaction. Any refund issued after cancellation may be reduced by non-refundable payment processing costs or other amounts permitted by the Company’s Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Right to refuse or cancel shipments to restricted destinations or prohibited parties.
- Screening authority for sanctions, diversion risk, freight-forwarding concerns, and carrier limitations.
- Ability to request alternative address, additional verification, or order cancellation.
13. Tracking Information and Delivery Confirmation
Tracking Communication
Once an order has been packed, labeled, and transferred into the shipping workflow, customers will receive tracking information by email or through the customer account portal, where available. Tracking information may require up to twenty-four hours to become active in the carrier’s system. A tracking number confirms that a shipment record has been created; it does not guarantee immediate movement, same-day carrier scan, or delivery by a specified date.
Customer Monitoring Obligation
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and making timely arrangements to receive delivery. This includes watching for attempted-delivery notices, responding to carrier communications, retrieving packages from access points or hold locations, and contacting the carrier when delivery exceptions appear. Failure to monitor tracking information may result in delay, return, storage charges, or failed delivery, all of which remain the customer’s responsibility.
Delivery Confirmation as Evidence
Carrier records indicating delivery, attempted delivery, customer pickup, refusal, hold expiration, or return-to-sender status are material evidence in any shipment investigation. Royal Peptide Labs may rely on carrier records, delivery scans, geolocation data, signature records, proof-of-delivery documents, address validation data, and customer communications when determining whether a shipment has been fulfilled.
Delivery Exceptions
A tracking exception does not automatically mean a package is lost. Exceptions may occur because of weather, routing changes, customs review, missed scans, carrier facility volume, address questions, access issues, damage assessment, or security review. The Company will evaluate shipment exceptions in a commercially reasonable manner, but carrier timelines and investigation procedures may limit the speed of resolution.
Records for Underwriting and Dispute Defense
Royal Peptide Labs retains shipment records as part of its fulfillment and chargeback-prevention controls. Records may include order details, customer identity information, billing and shipping address information, product list, order value, carrier, tracking number, delivery status, signature confirmation, delivery photograph when available, customer communications, and claim documentation. These records assist with customer service, inventory reconciliation, dispute response, fraud review, and processor underwriting review.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Tracking is provided after shipment, and customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates.
- Carrier proof of delivery and signature records may be used as evidence in dispute review.
- Shipment documentation is retained for fraud prevention, chargeback defense, and underwriting review.
14. Address Accuracy and Customer Obligations
Customer Duty to Provide Accurate Information
Customers are solely responsible for providing complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping information at the time of purchase. Required information may include recipient name, business or laboratory name where applicable, street address, unit or suite number, city, state or province, postal code, country, telephone number, and email address. Royal Peptide Labs is not responsible for delivery failure, delay, misrouting, loss, return, surcharge, or reshipment expense caused by incomplete or incorrect customer-provided information.
Address Verification Review
The Company may use automated or manual address verification tools to identify obvious formatting issues or delivery risks. However, address review is a fraud and fulfillment-control tool and does not transfer responsibility for accuracy from the customer to the Company. If an address appears incomplete, invalid, mismatched, or associated with heightened risk, Royal Peptide Labs may place the order on hold and request confirmation or correction before shipment.
Post-Order Address Changes
Address changes after order placement are not guaranteed. Once an order has entered fulfillment, label creation, carrier pickup, or transit, the Company may be unable to modify the delivery address. If a customer requests an address change, Royal Peptide Labs may require identity verification, billing verification, written confirmation, and payment of any additional shipping or carrier fees. Address-change requests may be denied when they create fraud risk or conflict with processor, carrier, or compliance controls.
Undeliverable Addresses
Orders returned due to missing apartment numbers, incorrect postal codes, closed businesses, inaccessible buildings, refused access, unclaimed packages, invalid recipient names, incorrect country selection, or similar customer-related causes may be treated as customer-caused delivery failures. In those circumstances, the customer may be required to pay all reshipment charges and any applicable carrier or handling fees before the order is reshipped.
High-Risk Address Indicators
Royal Peptide Labs may decline shipment to addresses associated with prior chargebacks, fraud, package loss, repeated reshipment requests, freight-forwarding concerns, mail drops, virtual offices, inaccessible locations, or other indicators inconsistent with normal research-use purchasing behavior. The Company may request additional documentation before releasing a shipment to such addresses.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Customer is responsible for complete and accurate shipping information.
- Address-change requests may require verification and are not guaranteed after fulfillment begins.
- High-risk addresses may trigger additional review or shipment denial.
15. Returned-to-Sender Shipments
Definition
A returned-to-sender shipment is a package that the carrier returns to Royal Peptide Labs or its fulfillment location because delivery could not be completed. Common causes include incorrect address, incomplete address, recipient refusal, failed delivery attempts, unclaimed package, customs rejection, unpaid fees, closed receiving location, carrier damage review, or delivery restrictions.
Customer-Caused Returns
When a shipment is returned due to customer error or customer inaction, the customer remains responsible for the original shipping cost and any return, reshipment, address correction, storage, customs, or carrier charges. Original shipping charges are not refundable once a package has been tendered to the carrier.
Company Review Upon Return
If a package is returned to Royal Peptide Labs, the Company will inspect the returned shipment to determine whether the package is intact, whether products remain suitable for resale or reshipment, whether tampering or damage is present, and whether the return was caused by customer action, carrier error, customs action, or Company error. Returned products may not be eligible for resale or reshipment if product integrity cannot be confirmed.
Reshipment Conditions
Royal Peptide Labs may offer reshipment at its discretion when the returned package is intact and the customer provides a verified deliverable address. Reshipment may require payment of new shipping charges, any returned-shipment fees, any address correction fees, and any applicable handling costs. The Company may refuse reshipment if the original delivery failure indicates fraud, import risk, repeated customer error, or destination restrictions.
Refund Review
Refunds for returned-to-sender shipments are not automatic. If a refund is approved, it may exclude original shipping charges, return shipping charges, non-refundable carrier fees, payment processing costs, product integrity losses, restocking costs, and any other amounts permitted by applicable law and Company policy.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Returned-to-sender events are investigated before any refund, credit, or reshipment decision.
- Customer-caused returns may require payment of new shipping and related carrier fees.
- Product integrity review is required before returned products can be reshipped or otherwise resolved.
16. Refused Deliveries
Policy Overview
A refused delivery occurs when the customer, recipient, customs authority, receiving location, or other party declines acceptance of a shipment. Refusal may also occur when a customer fails to pay duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges necessary for delivery.
Financial Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all costs associated with refused deliveries. This includes original shipping, return shipping, carrier surcharges, customs fees, storage fees, brokerage fees, reshipment fees, and any product loss caused by the refusal. A customer may not avoid payment obligations simply by refusing delivery.
No Automatic Cancellation
Refusing delivery does not automatically cancel an order and does not guarantee a refund. Once an order has been processed and shipped, fulfillment activity has occurred and shipping costs have been incurred. Any request for refund, credit, or reshipment following a refused delivery will be reviewed under this Shipping Policy, the Refund and Returns Policy, the Terms and Conditions, and applicable law.
International Refusals
For international shipments, refusal to pay duties, taxes, customs fees, or import charges is treated as a customer-caused delivery failure. If the shipment is abandoned, destroyed, seized, or returned due to refusal, Royal Peptide Labs is not responsible for the resulting loss unless required by law.
Abuse Prevention
Repeated refusal of shipments, refusal followed by payment dispute, or refusal connected to suspicious ordering behavior may result in account restrictions, cancellation of pending orders, denial of future sales, or additional verification requirements.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Refused deliveries do not automatically cancel the order or guarantee a refund.
- Customer remains responsible for costs caused by refusal, including duties, taxes, return fees, and reshipment expenses.
- Repeated refusal behavior may result in account restrictions or denial of future transactions.
17. Lost Package Investigation Procedures
Initial Review
When a customer reports a package as lost, Royal Peptide Labs will conduct an initial review of the order, tracking history, carrier scans, delivery address, shipping method, order value, and customer communications. The Company may require the customer to confirm the shipping address, check with household members, building staff, mailroom personnel, neighbors, and the carrier before a formal claim is opened.
Carrier Investigation
If tracking indicates that the package is delayed, stalled, or not delivered, the Company may assist in opening a carrier investigation where appropriate. Carrier investigations can require multiple business days and may depend on facility searches, driver interviews, scan data review, route review, and proof-of-delivery documentation. Royal Peptide Labs cannot control the carrier’s investigation timeline or outcome.
Customer Cooperation
Customers must cooperate with the investigation by providing accurate information, responding promptly to support requests, and submitting any required statements, photographs, forms, or carrier documentation. Failure to cooperate may result in denial of replacement, credit, or claim support.
Resolution Standards
A lost package claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or replacement. Resolution may depend on whether the package was insured, whether delivery was confirmed, whether the customer selected shipping insurance, whether the address was accurate, whether signature confirmation was required, whether the carrier approves a claim, and whether the order history presents fraud or chargeback risk.
Insurance Impact
If the customer purchased optional shipping insurance, any covered claim may be handled in accordance with the insurance terms and carrier or insurer requirements. If the customer declined insurance, recovery may be limited or unavailable depending on the carrier service used and the facts of the loss.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Lost-package reports are reviewed against tracking, address data, carrier scans, customer communications, and insurance status.
- Customer cooperation is required for investigation and claim support.
- Resolution is fact-dependent and not automatic.
18. Stolen Package Procedures
Delivered But Not Received Claims
A stolen package claim typically occurs when the carrier marks a shipment as delivered but the customer reports that the package was not present at the delivery location. Royal Peptide Labs treats these claims differently from lost-in-transit claims because carrier proof of delivery may establish that the package reached the address provided by the customer.
Customer Security Obligations
Customers are responsible for using secure delivery locations. Customers should select an address where the package can be received promptly, such as a business, laboratory, staffed office, secure mailroom, or other controlled receiving location. Customers should not ship to locations where packages are commonly left unattended if theft risk is foreseeable.
Investigation Steps
Royal Peptide Labs may request that the customer check with building management, mailrooms, front desks, family members, neighbors, delivery lockers, and the carrier. The Company may also request written confirmation, delivery photographs, police report information where appropriate, or other documentation supporting the claim.
Company Position on Delivered Packages
When carrier records show delivery to the correct address, Royal Peptide Labs is generally not responsible for theft, disappearance after delivery, or unauthorized removal from the delivery location. Replacement or credit may be denied, especially where the customer declined shipping insurance, did not request additional delivery safeguards, or provided a delivery location unsuitable for secure receipt.
Signature Threshold Protection
Orders over $500 are subject to signature confirmation requirements. This control is designed to reduce the risk of high-value delivery disputes and protect both the customer and the Company. If the customer or recipient authorizes carrier release without signature, changes delivery instructions, signs electronically, redirects the package, or otherwise modifies delivery terms, the customer assumes the associated risk to the extent permitted by law.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Delivered-but-not-received claims are distinguished from lost-in-transit claims.
- Customers are responsible for secure delivery locations and prompt retrieval.
- Signature confirmation for orders over $500 helps reduce high-value delivery disputes.
19. Damaged Shipment Claims
Inspection Obligation
Customers must inspect shipments immediately upon receipt. Any visible damage to the exterior packaging, product packaging, or contents should be documented before disposal of packaging materials. The customer must retain all shipping materials, labels, inserts, boxes, insulation, and product containers until the claim is resolved because carriers may require inspection.
Reporting Deadline
Damage claims must be reported to Royal Peptide Labs within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery unless a different period is required by law. Delayed reporting may prevent the Company from submitting a timely carrier claim and may result in denial of replacement or credit.
Required Documentation
A damage report should include the order number, tracking number, delivery date, description of the damage, photographs of the outer box, photographs of internal packaging, photographs of damaged product containers, and any carrier notice or delivery exception. Royal Peptide Labs may request additional documentation if necessary to determine whether damage occurred during transit, before shipment, after delivery, or due to customer handling.
Claim Review and Resolution
The Company will review damage claims in good faith. Potential resolutions may include carrier claim support, replacement, partial credit, store credit, refund, or denial, depending on the facts. Replacement is not guaranteed and may depend on product availability, claim validity, insurance coverage, customer cooperation, and whether the damage affects product integrity.
Tampering and Safety Concerns
If a shipment appears opened, punctured, leaking, contaminated, tampered with, or otherwise compromised, the customer should not use the contents and should contact Royal Peptide Labs immediately. The Company may request that the customer quarantine the package pending review. Products returned or photographed for damage review may be handled under the Company’s quality and compliance procedures.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Damage claims must be reported promptly and supported with photographs and retained packaging.
- Claim outcomes depend on facts, product integrity, carrier review, and insurance availability.
- Potential tampering or compromised packages are escalated for quality and compliance review.
20. Risk of Loss and Transfer of Title
Commercial Standard
Risk of loss and title to products transfer to the customer upon tender of the package to the carrier, except where applicable law requires a different result. This means that once Royal Peptide Labs has properly packaged the order and delivered it to the carrier, transit-related risks generally shift to the customer.
Carrier as Independent Third Party
Carriers are independent third parties and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Royal Peptide Labs. The Company does not control carrier routing, scanning, handling, delivery attempts, weather delays, customs review, facility procedures, driver conduct, or package placement after delivery.
Effect of Customer Choices
Customer decisions may affect risk allocation. These include choosing an address, declining shipping insurance, failing to monitor tracking, waiving signature requirements where available, using freight forwarders, redirecting packages, delaying pickup, failing to pay import charges, or providing incomplete address information. Where customer action or omission contributes to loss, delay, theft, return, seizure, or damage, the customer bears responsibility to the extent permitted by law.
High-Value Order Control
The signature requirement for orders over $500 is a risk-control measure designed to reduce disputes and provide proof of receipt. The Company may implement additional risk controls for high-value or high-risk orders, including manual verification, address confirmation, customer acknowledgment, shipping method upgrade, or insurance recommendation.
Relationship to Other Policies
This Risk of Loss section operates together with the Company’s Terms and Conditions, Refund and Returns Policy, Chargeback and Fraud Prevention Policy, Research Use Only Disclaimer, and any customer acknowledgments presented at checkout. In the event of a shipment dispute, Royal Peptide Labs may review all applicable policies and records before determining the appropriate resolution.
Operational Controls Reflected in This Section
- Risk of loss generally transfers upon tender to the carrier, subject to applicable law.
- Carrier is an independent third party outside Company control.
- Customer choices such as address selection, insurance decisions, and delivery modifications affect risk allocation.
21. FRAUD PREVENTION AND SHIPMENT HOLDS
Royal Peptide Labs, LLC maintains a risk-based fraud prevention process designed to protect customers, reduce unauthorized transactions, prevent fulfillment of suspicious orders, and preserve documentation necessary for payment processor and acquiring bank review. Because the Company operates in a high-risk merchant category and ships products intended strictly for lawful research use, every order is subject to review before release to the carrier. The Company does not treat payment authorization alone as final approval for shipment. Payment authorization confirms that a payment method was accepted by the payment system; it does not eliminate the Company’s right to conduct additional order review before fulfilling the order.
Shipment holds may be applied when an order presents indicators that require additional verification. These indicators may include, but are not limited to, inconsistent billing and shipping information, unusually large order value, multiple failed payment attempts, a mismatch between customer identity and payment details, use of anonymous or suspicious contact information, rapid repeat ordering, prior chargeback activity, order routing through restricted or high-risk jurisdictions, international shipping risk, carrier delivery limitations, or any facts suggesting that fulfillment may violate Company policy or applicable law.
21.1 Purpose of Shipment Holds
The purpose of a shipment hold is not to create unnecessary delay, but to ensure that the Company releases only properly reviewed orders into the shipping stream. Shipment holds support fraud prevention, product traceability, customer communication, transaction documentation, and compliance with underwriting expectations. A hold allows staff to confirm that the order was placed by an authorized customer, that the customer information is complete, that shipping instructions are accurate, and that the order does not conflict with the Company’s Research Use Only restrictions or destination limitations.
- To reduce unauthorized payment activity before shipment occurs.
- To confirm customer identity and address details when risk indicators are present.
- To ensure the order is consistent with Company policies and product-use restrictions.
- To prevent shipments to jurisdictions or destinations that may present elevated compliance concerns.
- To preserve documentation for payment processor, acquiring bank, carrier, or law enforcement review if needed.
21.2 Verification Requests
When additional verification is required, Royal Peptide Labs may contact the customer using the email address, telephone number, account portal, or other contact method provided at checkout. Verification requests may include confirmation of the customer’s shipping address, billing information, order details, intended lawful research-use acknowledgment, or other information reasonably necessary to review the order. Customers are expected to respond promptly and accurately. The Company may decline to ship an order when the customer does not provide requested verification information, provides inconsistent information, or otherwise fails to satisfy the Company’s review requirements.
Royal Peptide Labs reserves the right to cancel an order rather than ship it when the Company determines that the transaction presents unacceptable fraud, compliance, carrier, customs, or chargeback risk. Cancellation under this section is a protective measure and does not constitute an admission that fraud occurred. Where appropriate, authorized but uncaptured transactions may be voided, and captured transactions may be refunded in accordance with the Company’s payment and refund procedures.
21.3 High-Value Orders and Signature Confirmation
Orders with a total order value greater than $500 are subject to signature confirmation requirements. This requirement exists to create a stronger delivery record, reduce non-receipt disputes, and protect both the customer and the Company from claims involving unattended delivery. A customer who places an order over the threshold acknowledges that an adult or authorized recipient may need to be available at the delivery address to sign for the package. If the carrier cannot obtain a required signature, the package may be held for pickup, returned to sender, or subject to additional carrier instructions.
Royal Peptide Labs may also require signature confirmation on orders below $500 when the order presents elevated risk, when the shipping destination has a history of delivery issues, when carrier procedures require it, or when the Company determines that signature confirmation is appropriate based on the facts of the transaction. The Company may document the decision to require signature confirmation in the order record.
22. CHARGEBACK PREVENTION AND SHIPPING EVIDENCE STANDARDS
Royal Peptide Labs maintains shipping documentation standards to reduce chargeback exposure and to support timely response to payment disputes. Shipping-related chargebacks frequently arise from claims that an order was not received, was delivered to the wrong location, arrived late, was damaged in transit, was unauthorized, or did not match the customer’s expectations. The Company’s shipping policy is therefore designed to create clear customer disclosures, reliable tracking evidence, accurate fulfillment records, and consistent communication before and after shipment.
The Company’s chargeback prevention approach begins before the order is shipped. The customer is informed that shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, that no free shipping is offered, that insurance may be purchased for an additional fee, that signature is required on orders over $500, and that international orders may be subject to customs duties, delays, taxes, restrictions, or seizure. These disclosures are intended to reduce misunderstandings and to ensure the customer has clear notice of shipping terms before completing the transaction.
22.1 Shipping Evidence Maintained for Disputes
For each shipped order, Royal Peptide Labs may maintain records sufficient to demonstrate that the order was accepted, processed, packed, shipped, and delivered or tendered for delivery. Evidence maintained may include order confirmation, payment authorization records, shipping label records, tracking number, carrier acceptance scan, delivery scan, signature confirmation where applicable, customer email confirmations, shipment weight information, fulfillment notes, packing verification, batch or lot references, and internal review comments.
- Order confirmation and timestamp.
- Customer name, billing address, and shipping address as entered at checkout.
- Payment status and authorization information maintained by the payment system.
- Shipping method selected or assigned.
- Carrier tracking number and shipment acceptance data.
- Delivery confirmation, attempted delivery notice, pickup hold notice, or return-to-sender record.
- Signature record for orders requiring signature confirmation.
- Customer communications regarding shipment status, delays, claims, address corrections, or replacement requests.
22.2 Customer Communication as Chargeback Prevention
Royal Peptide Labs seeks to resolve shipping issues through direct customer communication before a dispute escalates into a chargeback. Customers are encouraged to contact support@royalpeptidelabs.com with order number, tracking number, delivery details, photographs when applicable, and a description of the shipping concern. Support personnel may review carrier records, verify address information, request additional documentation, initiate a carrier inquiry, or explain available options under the Company’s policies.
Customers are expected to cooperate with reasonable requests for information. A customer who submits a chargeback without first allowing the Company a reasonable opportunity to investigate may limit the Company’s ability to assist with carrier claims, insurance claims, reshipment review, or other available resolutions. The Company reserves all rights to respond to chargebacks using available order, payment, shipping, delivery, communication, and policy records.
22.3 Non-Receipt Claims and Delivery Records
When a customer claims non-receipt of an order, Royal Peptide Labs will review the carrier’s tracking record and any available delivery documentation. Carrier confirmation showing delivery to the shipping address provided by the customer will generally be treated as evidence that the package was delivered. For orders requiring signature confirmation, the signature or delivery verification record may be used as additional evidence of delivery. The Company may request that the customer check with household members, building personnel, mailroom staff, neighbors, property managers, or the carrier before a claim is escalated.
If the package was marked delivered but the customer alleges it was stolen, missing, or misdelivered, the matter may be treated as a carrier or post-delivery security issue rather than a fulfillment failure by Royal Peptide Labs. The Company may assist with a carrier inquiry but does not guarantee replacement, refund, or reimbursement for packages marked delivered by the carrier.
23. FORCE MAJEURE, CARRIER DELAYS, AND SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS
Royal Peptide Labs is not responsible for delays or non-performance caused by events outside the Company’s reasonable control. Shipping requires coordination among the Company, payment systems, fulfillment personnel, carriers, customs officials, weather conditions, transportation networks, and customer availability. Because many of these factors are controlled by third parties, delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless the Company expressly states otherwise in writing.
23.1 Force Majeure Events
Force majeure events include circumstances that materially affect the Company’s ability to process, prepare, ship, or deliver orders and that are beyond the Company’s reasonable control. During such events, fulfillment may be delayed, modified, suspended, or canceled without liability to the extent permitted by law. Royal Peptide Labs will make commercially reasonable efforts to resume normal operations when conditions permit, but the Company does not guarantee that all orders will ship or deliver within originally estimated timeframes during such circumstances.
- Severe weather, snowstorms, flooding, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, or other natural disasters.
- Carrier network interruptions, transportation disruptions, aircraft or vehicle delays, route closures, or hub backlogs.
- Labor strikes, lockouts, staffing shortages, supply chain disruptions, or warehouse access limitations.
- Government actions, customs actions, import restrictions, public health orders, emergency declarations, or regulatory interruptions.
- Power outages, internet outages, payment processor disruptions, cybersecurity incidents, or technology failures.
- Acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, riots, embargoes, or other extraordinary events affecting shipment operations.
23.2 Carrier Delay Limitations
Once an order has been tendered to the carrier, the carrier controls transportation routing, scanning, transit time, delivery attempts, pickup holds, and final delivery procedures. Royal Peptide Labs may provide tracking information and assist with carrier inquiries, but the Company cannot compel the carrier to accelerate delivery, reverse customs actions, locate a package more quickly than carrier procedures allow, or guarantee that carrier estimates will be met.
Carrier service commitments may be modified, suspended, or limited by the carrier. A shipping method displayed as two-day, overnight, express, ground, or home delivery reflects the carrier service selected or assigned, but it does not create an unconditional guarantee by Royal Peptide Labs. Customers acknowledge that shipping charges are paid for carrier service and handling, not for an unconditional promise that external delivery conditions will remain unchanged.
23.3 Customer Notice During Service Interruptions
When Royal Peptide Labs becomes aware of significant service interruptions affecting fulfillment or shipping, the Company may communicate with customers through order emails, website notices, support responses, or account notifications. However, the absence of a separate notice does not waive this policy or make the Company liable for delays caused by third parties or events outside its control. Customers remain responsible for monitoring tracking updates and contacting the carrier or Royal Peptide Labs support when shipment information appears delayed or inconsistent.
24. RECORD RETENTION AND SHIPMENT DOCUMENTATION
Royal Peptide Labs maintains shipment records as part of its broader compliance, fulfillment, fraud prevention, customer service, chargeback defense, and underwriting risk management program. Accurate record retention allows the Company to verify that orders were processed consistently, products were shipped to the address provided by the customer, shipping costs were disclosed, tracking information was issued, and delivery confirmation was available when needed.
24.1 Categories of Shipment Records
The Company may maintain physical or electronic records relating to order intake, fulfillment, shipment, customer communication, and dispute response. Records may be retained in the Company’s ecommerce platform, payment processor portal, carrier account, customer support system, inventory system, accounting records, email archive, or other secure business systems.
- Customer order details, including order number, date, products, quantities, and customer acknowledgments.
- Customer billing and shipping information as entered during checkout.
- Payment status, authorization, capture, refund, void, or dispute information.
- Fulfillment notes showing order review, packing, shipment preparation, and exceptions.
- Carrier label information, tracking number, service level, package weight, and shipping charge.
- Carrier scan history, delivery confirmation, attempted delivery, signature confirmation, or return-to-sender data.
- Customer support communications regarding address changes, delivery concerns, insurance, claims, customs, or damaged shipments.
- Internal compliance notes concerning fraud review, shipment holds, policy exceptions, or management approval.
24.2 Retention Period
Royal Peptide Labs may retain shipment-related records for the period reasonably necessary to support business operations, tax and accounting requirements, customer service needs, chargeback response, legal compliance, processor review, underwriting audits, internal investigations, or dispute resolution. Unless a longer period is required by law, contract, carrier requirement, payment processor rule, litigation hold, audit request, or business necessity, shipping records should generally be retained for a commercially reasonable period following order fulfillment.
The Company may retain certain documentation for longer periods when the order involved a dispute, chargeback, customer complaint, fraud indicator, insurance claim, customs issue, returned shipment, damaged shipment, or other event requiring additional review. Records may be preserved in electronic form, and scanned or system-generated records may be treated as equivalent to original records for internal business purposes.
24.3 Underwriting and Audit Availability
Because Royal Peptide Labs may be subject to review by payment processors, acquiring banks, sponsor banks, compliance partners, or other underwriting parties, the Company maintains shipment documentation in a manner intended to permit reasonable retrieval. The Company may provide summaries, screenshots, order records, tracking records, policies, or examples of shipping documentation when requested by authorized underwriting or compliance reviewers, subject to privacy, confidentiality, and legal limitations.
| Record Type | Primary Purpose | Risk Control Value |
| Tracking number and carrier scans | Confirm tender to carrier and shipment movement | Supports delivery inquiries and non-receipt dispute response |
| Signature confirmation for orders over $500 | Confirm receipt by authorized person when required | Reduces high-value non-receipt risk |
| Customer support communications | Document issue resolution and customer notice | Supports chargeback defense and quality control |
| Fulfillment and packing notes | Confirm order accuracy and internal review | Supports inventory accuracy and shipment integrity |
| Insurance election records | Confirm whether customer purchased optional insurance | Clarifies responsibility for uninsured transit risk |
25. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Royal Peptide Labs seeks to fulfill orders accurately and responsibly, but shipping involves risks that cannot be eliminated entirely. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company’s liability for shipping-related matters is limited as set forth in this policy, the Terms and Conditions, the Refund and Return Policy, and any other applicable Company policy. Customers should review all policies before placing an order.
25.1 No Liability for Customer Error
Royal Peptide Labs is not responsible for losses, delays, returns, delivery failures, or additional expenses caused by customer error. Customer error includes incorrect address information, incomplete address information, failure to include apartment or suite number, use of an inaccessible delivery location, refusal of delivery, failure to retrieve a package, failure to respond to verification requests, failure to monitor tracking, failure to pay customs charges, or failure to comply with import requirements.
When customer error results in a returned shipment, reshipment request, carrier correction charge, customs issue, or other additional cost, the customer remains responsible for all shipping-related expenses. No free shipping is offered, and shipping charges are not waived unless the Company expressly agrees in writing.
25.2 No Liability for Carrier or Customs Conduct
Royal Peptide Labs is not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party carriers, customs officials, import authorities, local delivery services, mailroom personnel, property managers, freight handlers, or other third parties involved in transportation or delivery. The Company may assist with inquiries but cannot guarantee results controlled by third parties. Delays, misroutes, customs inspections, holds, refusals, seizures, weather interruptions, and failed delivery attempts may occur despite the Company’s reasonable fulfillment efforts.
25.3 Liability Cap
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maximum liability of Royal Peptide Labs for any shipping-related claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific order giving rise to the claim, excluding amounts attributable to third-party taxes, duties, customs fees, brokerage charges, or other charges not retained by the Company. In no event shall Royal Peptide Labs be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, lost-profit, lost-opportunity, lost-research, business interruption, or reputational damages arising from shipping delays, delivery issues, damaged packages, customs actions, carrier errors, or customer failure to comply with this policy.
25.4 Insurance and Allocation of Transit Risk
Customers may purchase shipping insurance for an additional fee when available. Insurance is offered to provide additional carrier or third-party claim protection for eligible shipments. Customers who decline optional insurance accept that uninsured shipments may have limited or no recovery if lost, damaged, delayed, stolen, or otherwise affected during transit. Purchase of insurance does not guarantee claim approval, immediate reimbursement, or replacement; any insurance claim remains subject to applicable carrier or insurance provider rules, documentation requirements, exclusions, and investigation procedures.
26. RESEARCH USE ONLY SHIPPING DISCLOSURES
All products shipped by Royal Peptide Labs are designated for Research Use Only. Products are not offered, sold, labeled, shipped, or intended for human consumption, medical use, therapeutic use, veterinary use, diagnostic use, cosmetic use, household use, food use, drug use, or any use involving administration to humans or animals. Shipping of a product does not modify this restriction and does not imply approval for any prohibited use.
26.1 Customer Responsibility for Lawful Use
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that products ordered from Royal Peptide Labs may be lawfully purchased, received, imported, stored, handled, transported, and used in the customer’s jurisdiction. This responsibility applies to domestic and international customers. The customer must understand and comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and foreign laws, rules, regulations, import restrictions, research protocols, institutional requirements, and safety standards.
26.2 Shipment Documentation and Product Characterization
Shipping documentation, product labels, invoices, packing slips, website descriptions, and customer communications are intended to reflect Research Use Only status. No shipping document should be interpreted as a representation that the product is approved for human use, medical treatment, clinical application, veterinary treatment, compounding, resale for consumption, or any regulated end use outside lawful research. Customers should not request that Royal Peptide Labs misdescribe products, alter customs descriptions improperly, remove required labels, falsify shipping documents, or state an inaccurate product purpose.
26.3 Refusal of Non-Compliant Orders
Royal Peptide Labs reserves the right to refuse, cancel, hold, or decline shipment of any order when the Company believes the customer may intend a non-research use, when the destination presents legal or compliance concerns, when requested shipping documentation appears inaccurate or improper, or when fulfillment may create unacceptable regulatory or underwriting risk. This right applies before and after payment authorization and may be exercised at the Company’s discretion.
- Products are supplied only for lawful laboratory research purposes.
- Products are not for human consumption or administration to humans or animals.
- Customers are responsible for safe handling, lawful receipt, and jurisdiction-specific compliance.
- The Company may decline shipment where the order presents Research Use Only compliance concerns.
- Customs or shipping documentation must not be falsified or altered to evade restrictions.
27. POLICY MODIFICATIONS, INTERPRETATION, AND ENFORCEMENT
Royal Peptide Labs may modify this Shipping Policy at any time to reflect changes in business operations, carrier requirements, payment processor requirements, acquiring bank expectations, legal obligations, customs procedures, fraud prevention practices, product handling standards, or customer service procedures. Policy updates may be posted on the Company’s website, incorporated into underwriting packages, distributed internally, or applied to future orders as appropriate.
27.1 Applicable Version
The version of the Shipping Policy in effect at the time an order is placed will generally govern that order, unless a change is required by law, carrier rule, customs requirement, payment processor requirement, or compliance directive. Royal Peptide Labs may apply updated procedures to pending orders when necessary to address fraud, safety, carrier, customs, legal, or compliance concerns.
27.2 Interpretation
This policy should be interpreted together with the Company’s Terms and Conditions, Refund and Return Policy, Privacy Policy, Chargeback and Fraud Prevention Policy, Research Use Only Disclaimer, and any customer acknowledgments presented during checkout. If one policy contains more specific language regarding a shipping issue, the more specific language may govern that issue. If there is an inconsistency, Royal Peptide Labs reserves the right to interpret policies in a commercially reasonable manner consistent with applicable law and underwriting risk controls.
27.3 No Waiver
Failure by Royal Peptide Labs to enforce a provision of this Shipping Policy in one instance does not waive the Company’s right to enforce that provision in the future. Any exception, courtesy accommodation, replacement, refund, reshipment, or support action provided in a specific case is not a continuing obligation and does not create a precedent requiring the Company to provide the same accommodation in other cases.
27.4 Internal Enforcement
Company personnel responsible for customer support, fulfillment, compliance, and management should apply this policy consistently. When an exception is requested, the exception should be documented and escalated to appropriate management or compliance personnel. Exceptions involving high-value orders, international shipments, chargeback exposure, customs concerns, uninsured loss claims, or Research Use Only compliance concerns should receive elevated review before any replacement, refund, reshipment, or policy deviation is approved.
28. CONTACT INFORMATION AND ESCALATION PROCEDURES
Customers with shipping-related questions should contact Royal Peptide Labs using the official support email listed below. Customers should include complete information to allow the Company to locate and review the order efficiently. Incomplete requests may delay investigation or response.
28.1 Required Information for Shipping Support
When contacting support about a shipment, the customer should provide the order number, customer name, email address used at checkout, tracking number if available, shipping address, description of the concern, date of delivery or expected delivery, and photographs when the issue involves visible package damage, missing contents, or carrier handling concerns. International customers should also provide any customs notices, duty assessments, import correspondence, or carrier clearance messages received.
- Order number.
- Tracking number.
- Customer name and checkout email address.
- Complete shipping address.
- Description of the issue.
- Photographs of packaging and contents when damage is alleged.
- Carrier notices, customs notices, or delivery attempt records when applicable.
28.2 Escalation Review
Shipping matters may be escalated internally when they involve high-value orders, potential fraud, customs actions, threatened chargebacks, insurance claims, repeated customer complaints, delivery disputes, returned international shipments, or requests for exceptions to this policy. Escalated matters may be reviewed by customer support, fulfillment personnel, compliance personnel, management, or the Managing Member/Approval Authority as appropriate.
Royal Peptide Labs may require additional time to investigate escalated shipping issues. The Company may need to review carrier records, order history, customer communications, payment records, insurance status, fulfillment notes, and policy terms before providing a final response. Customers are expected to cooperate with reasonable investigation requests and to avoid filing premature chargebacks while the matter is under active review.

28.4 Closing Statement
This Part 3 Shipping Policy completes the Company’s final shipping controls addressing fraud prevention, chargeback evidence, force majeure, documentation retention, liability allocation, Research Use Only shipping restrictions, policy enforcement, and customer escalation procedures. Together with Part 1 and Part 2, this document is intended to demonstrate that Royal Peptide Labs maintains a mature, documented, and commercially reasonable shipping and fulfillment framework appropriate for high-risk merchant underwriting review.
